Getting There

THE ROBERT MORRIS INN

Please note that should you use a sat nav system it may guide you to the Oxford Bellvue Ferry. Please note this Ferry does not operate between November and March
Approximate travel times to Oxford, MD: 

Annapolis - 1 hour

BWI Airport &Train Station- 1.5 hours

Baltimore City - Under 2 hours

Bay Bridge - 45 minutes

Bay Bridge Tunnel - 3 hours

Ocean City - 1.5 hours

Philadelphia - 2.5 hours

Salisbury - 1 hour

St. Michaels - 25 minutes

Washington, DC - Under 2 hours


*Make sure you take the Oxford Road and not the St. Michaels Road. Some GPS units will take you to Bellevue and the ferry could be closed at that time.


From the Philadelphia area or the Delaware Memorial Bridge:

Take 95 South to Exit 896 (Middletown, DE) to Route 301 South to Route 213 South.  From 213, turn left onto Route 50 East to Easton.  Bear right on Route 322. Go 3.3 miles.  Turn right on Route 333 South. Oxford is 8.5 miles. The Inn is located at the end of North Morris Street, just before the ferry dock. 


From the Chesapeake Bay Bridge:

Stay on Route 50 East to Easton.  About 26 miles from the Bridge bear right on Route 322.  Go 3.3 miles.  Turn right on Route 333 South.  Oxford is 8.5 miles. The Inn is located at the end of North Morris Street, just before the ferry dock. Speed limit is 25 mph in Oxford.


From the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, Ocean City, or Salisbury:

Take Route 13 North to Route 50 West.  Go through Cambridge.  As soon as you cross the Cambridge Bridge, (Frederick Malkus) go exactly 7.4 miles and get in the left lane.  Turn left on Almshouse Road.  Continue 6 miles to Oxford.  If you miss the turn at Almshouse Road, continue west on Route 50 approximately 2.5 miles.  Pick up Route 322 (left exit) to Route 333.  Turn left on Route 333 and continue 8.5 miles to Oxford. The Inn is located at the end of North Morris Street, just before the ferry dock. Speed limit is 25 mph in Oxford.

By Sea

The Tred Avon River and Town Creek at Oxford, Maryland offer excellent, protected anchorage and marina facilities.  From the Chesapeake Bay, enter the Choptank River to the Tred Avon.

From New York to Princess Anne - 240 miles.

From Philadelphia area take Rt. 95 South to I-495 South via exit number 11 toward "Port of Wilmington/Baltimore." I-495 South becomes I-95 South. Merge onto DE-1 South via exit number 4A toward "Christiana/Mall Road". Take the US-13 exit number 97 toward "Salisbury/Norfolk." Follow 13 South round Salisbury to Princess Anne on route 13. 
From Philadelphia to Princess Anne - 150 miles

From Baltimore, Washington DC, and Alexandria, Virginia take appropriate Rt. to Chesapeake Bay Bridge (Eastern Shore of Maryland). Rt. 50 East to Salisbury, take Rt. 13 South to Princess Anne. 
From Baltimore, DC, Alexandria to Princess Anne - 140 miles.
From North & South Carolina and points further South take Rt. 85, to Rt. 58, to Rt. 17 (Norfolk, Virginia) to Rt. 13 North. Across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. Follow signs to Maryland. Pass through Pocomoke City, Maryland to Princess Anne on route 13.
From Central North Carolina to Princess Anne - 450 miles.
